I’m tired. My left knee is sore. My back muscles are a little inflamed.

And it feels so great!

Tonight for the first time, our new start church officially began the dreaded/ wonderful cycle of being a mobile church: unload, set up, tear down, pack in. It is the beginning of what could be a multiple year arrangement.

There will be broken cords, dropped equipment, new scratches on the car, not to mention the old-man smell of Tiger Balm. There will be missing XLR cables, stubbed toes, overloaded circuits, and hums in the sound system.

But there will also be fire lines of equipment, team lifting heavy equipment, parking lot conversations, and all the jokes we will pull on one another. There is incredible team building that takes place when a group of people roll up sleeves together. And there is the excitement of doing whatever it takes to give people a chance to have their lives changed.

We get a front row seat to that. But, could you watch while you help me carry the amplifier to the van? Thanks.
